I usually love my family day out here…
I usually love my family day out here but my goodness we chose the wrong day by going yesterday. I've never seen so many disrespectful, rude and unruly kids in one place in my life. Multiple coaches of school kids which I will assume were on organised trips from their schools. The kids were ages from about 12-14ish. Left in large groups unattended by the teachers. The queue jumping was ridiculous, they claimed fences, barriers, you name it they were over it in large groups of up to 10 meaning everyone else had to queue for a substantial amount longer. Even when reported to the staff the staff did nothing. A message to those kids, you should be ashamed of yourselves and so should your parents for clearly teaching you zero manners at all. To the teachers, what were you actually doing for the day other than clearly abusing this as a free day out for yourselves? Then there's the rides, we queued for ages to go on Sik only to be told some time later that it won't be opening for another hour, thanks for wasting so much of our time. Velocity didn't open until 12pm due to technical issues and the ride is tatty and the bike seats at the back are covered with tape to cover up the rips, Pterodactyl didn't open at all for the entire day. The staff responsible for running the rides were slow in their checks and changeover resulting in more delays as they often stood around chatting or didn't bother to prepare riders for the ride until the others were off the ride and platform which is never usually the case especially when busy. It cost me £135.00 for 4 tickets to be surrounded by a group of animals (I mean the school kids and not the zoo) and also to waste our time for the above reasons. It's such a shame as this park has some awesome rides and has let itself down for the reasons I have stated. If you can't control large hoards of unruly school kids then I question why you allow so many in to begin with or why you allow the teachers to leave them all unattended to ruin everyone else's day. We left early afternoon as we'd had enough by then and it's doubtful we will be returning.

Would recommend Flamingo Land 100 per…
Would recommend Flamingo Land 100 per cent, we’ve been coming for 30 years and always loved it. Last year when we came we weren’t happy with it, nothing open etc and food places weren’t great. However this year, it’s back with a bang, Chinese is lush, gourmet chicken boxes are lush and the hot dogs are amazing. Definitely upped there game! The new ride is amazing, hardly any queues for the rides. We’ve had an amazing weekend
We just had two weeks here June 22
We just had two weeks here, kids loved it,
My only complaint is that a lot of rides kept breaking down or weren’t on, my older kids were desperately wanting to go on flip flop but it was off the whole two weeks, they need to put more money into fixing the rides, or employ more staff so that all the rides were running.
Most of the staff were excellent however manager of diner was very rude!!!

Shambles of a place
Next to nothing was open. Hardly any restaurant outlets and nothing after 5pm. The email says 4pm but in person we were told 5pm. They said they would call as soon as the room was ready and they didn’t. It was booked for 3 nights and we had no toilet paper between 4 of us. The shop shut at 6 giving us an hour to realise and buy some. We didn’t realise until gone 8 after we had gotten Chinese from the 1 of 2 only food stalls open. Coincidentally 4 hours later all of us became really unwell. Then people leaving caravans started screaming and making so much noise at 11:30pm which is just what you want when you’re throwing your guts up.
I came home on the first night. I was so unwell I haven’t picked my phone up since I left. This review is the first thing Iv managed to do. No toilet paper. No soap. No cold running water. Jelly beans, lipstick and balls, under our bed. Absolutely shocking for £800+. Never again. Ever. No welcome pack either with information. Probably because they have nothing to offer. Staff as useful as a wet paper bag.

Don't bother going here - take note of the reviews!
Went last week, absolute waste of money. No hot food or drink available at any of the food outlets. Many rides closed due to 'maintenance' apparently. Left early. Have complained and received no response from them at all. The reviews speak for themselves with 83% of people not returning!
Exciting and fun
Exciting yay
3 nights & 4 full days here
Just back from 4 days here with 4, 7, 9 & 13 year olds. All had a great time. Yes some rides were broken but back on asap. Queuing time was good for the small rides. Staff on rides friendly but lacking in customer service in the food outlets (please give them sime proper training for dealing with lots of people at a time). Pool & campsite nice with security around.
Flamingo land a holiday for all
Flamingo land offers an opportunity to wander down memory lane and be filled with nostalgia, they have some amazing rides and a selection for all the family, on top of that the Zoo is wonderful they are passionate about supporting animals in the wild there are information boards that all ages can engage in and understand which offers a great opportunity to educate whilst having fun, the animals are well kept, clean and as the staff say they are here to live not entertain so of you don't see them on your visit that's because they choose not to be looked at, it's a million miles away from some of the zoo's in the world where entertainment is the only thing that matters, they also are part of a very ethical breeding program which is lovely to know,
The rides are thrilling and in my view as good if not better than some of the other thrmeparks that get alot of the attention, queues are small, food is very reasonably prices for a themepark and a good variety too, if your stopping on the resort the supermarket is very good value and the swimming pool is amazing u won't be disappointed,
The cream of the crop at flamingo land though has to be the staff I haven't come across staff as friendly welcoming and accomodating at any other park, it's lovely and clean and although I'm sure there's maintenance to be caught up on due to the impact of covid this isn't felt as a visitor, there is also some adaptions that could be considered to tighten up the accessiblity offer but again I'm sure this will be being considered as they are constantly developing things I would like to see the app offering accessibility information and a ride access pass that's available virtually maybe but what they do offer is wonderful understanding staff with the right ethos and that's worth more than anything
Thank you flamingo land for a all round amazing holiday ❤️

Flamingo Land in the ascendancy…
After coming through what was a very hard Covid period and a set of management that probably shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place, I must say that the park is starting to take shape and is moving in the right direction to get black to pre-Covid times..!! The entertainment is still to a high standard, the park is being cleaned ? every day by a great maintenance team and the updates to certain areas of the park are looking great..!! (More to come including the new ride..!!) always room for improvement in a park this size but I’m glad the future is looking bright, well done to all involved from the top management to the tea boy at the bottom…!!! ??????
Lovely day out
Very clean, friendly staff, zoo is excellent and animal enclosures very well thought out and spacious. Ride queue times were adequate. Would have been 5 stars but for a few rides not being on. We will be back.

Never again. Don’t go, you will be disappointed.
If there was a zero in the star ratings…
If there was a zero in the star ratings I would of give it. My younger years where spent in flamingo land with my mum dad an family an I can honestly say back then it was amazing ther. 30 years later and I thought why not book flamingo land for my kids, worst mistake I ever could of made. When booking with flamingo land for a half term week break back in February that cost me 995.00. I asked on the telephone if everything would be open, I was reassured everything would be. We got there kids where bored, fair closed except one ride, food courts where closed everyday, we where having to drive to the nearest towns to go out for food and drinks. Club was open of a night and my two 17 year old and 8 year old where followed around the arcade. When we sat in the club we where watched constantly. I spoke to reception over the matter who where rude and not one bit helpful, however after a few complaints that I made. I decided to stay in the caravan most of the time I was there. My three children decided to go the club one night and I got a call saying we have been barred the door staff are saying that I had given them alcohol drinks when I wasn’t even out at the night in question: I went around to the club to see what was going on, only to be met by 5 door men and the head of security Jason. I have never ever in my life came across horrible bullying people in my life. They where rude to me and rude to my children. I explained I hadn’t gave my 17 year old drinks and that they should check the cctv to which they wouldn’t and because I stood my ground and tried to protest this stupidity they told me I had till 10am the nxt morning to get off the site, this was Wednesday and my holiday was booked till Saturday. I left as I didn’t want to be there any longer and I would never go there again, even if someone else paid for me to go. The staff and management are all bully’s. Grown ass men being aggressive toward a woman and children on there holiday is shocking. Flamingo land sort your staff out yous are a disgrace. I have sent emails I have made calls because I wanted my money back. They accused me of something I never done and they could of checked that with the cctv but they refused to. I wonder why?? They had it in for us from day one. I want my money back. We basically paid to sit in a caravan. Absolute shocking. Don’t book there because nxt time it might just be you and your family they do this too. It’s a police matter now and I have been intouch with the press. I will never leave this until it’s sorted. I had to book butlins for the remainder of are holiday as my little girl was so upset, but I can honestly say we had the best time there and my only regret is that I never booked there in the first place. Jason and his staff where even banging and shouting outside my caravan door when I went home with my children. They tried to intimidate me and my family. I tried to reason with Jason the next day to no avail. I don’t no how he sleeps at night. He even went as far to call me a bad mother because I had a few drinks in my caravan, erm am sure I was supposed to be on holiday? How dare he? He doesn’t even no me. So there you go folks that’s what happens when you book with flamingo land
I absolutely horrified at todays visit
I absolutely horrified at todays visit. 45 minutes and £60 down the drain. Took us 3 hours to get to a empty park, nothing but work and maintenance, a handful of animals to see and 3 rides in the muddy duck farm area, for rides for the children who come for free. Nothing for the paying children, no food outlets except a cafe at the entrance, no customer services, took 6 staff to send me in different directions to speak to somebody. When I got sent to the security lodge, I was met with the most rude and bitter attitude by the lady, absolutely no help whatsoever just backchat at me having to complain in front of my children. Feel like I have been scammed. MANAGEMENT “too busy” to come and speak to me, absolutely disgusting my kids were heartbroken. I expect you to reply with my email ASAP. absolute scam.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Just been to the biggest waste of money…
Just been to the biggest waste of money i have ever spent. Hacked the prices up for the school holidays they should be letting guests in for nothing. Got out our car and it was like a zombie apocalypse. No staff around, hand full of rides open, non of the food courts open, staff looking like they have been on a 18/30 chernobyl holiday. it wasn't for the kids seeing the hand full of animals in the zoo I would of walked out with in 5 mins. Last time I will be spending my money there.... Pile of s**t
